Hindley Green Councillor Bob Brierley has left the Independent group. He now calls himself an Independent Independent.

Sorry Nigel, I think that it is good to have people in politics who think and speak their own mind, and I really don't know why everyone keeps having a go at Bob. When I met him some years ago he seemed to have the needs of his constituents foremost in his mind.
