- Nigel was elected to Wigan MBC in May 2006 and was previously a Councillor from 2000 to 2004 . He has three grown up children and a grandchild Michael born in October 2007 He is a keen Liverpool FC supporter and enjoys going to the theatre, cinema and live music concerts. Nigel was re-elected in May 2010 to serve the people of Ashton for another four years

Sorry Nigel, I think that it is good to have people in politics who think and speak their own mind, and I really don't know why everyone keeps having a go at Bob. When I met him some years ago he seemed to have the needs of his constituents foremost in his mind.
