The new Healthwatch Wigan (the organisation that has replaced LINk) has appointed Sir Ian McCartney as chairman of the board.
Sir Ian who was a cabinet minister under a previous Labour Government will work with the other trustees to ensure the public’s views on health and social care are heard and acted upon.
