Last Saturday residents from houses around the pond took part in a clean up which I helped to organise. It was good to see so many people take part - well over twenty. The residents group will be organising another clean up at the end of June.

A question for you Nigel... Is the Manor Park estate a part of Stubshaw Cross or is it Town Green, or just Ashton?
Given that the entrance is in Stubshaw I personally think the whole estate should be and therefore those willing helpers of yours would be a great asset to helping with the care of the Heritage Garden when its done...
